This bilingual publication, edited by Fundación Tres Pinos, brings together essays related to two solo exhibitions by artist Alexis Minkiewicz: Rep(úb)lica, held at the MARCO La Boca Museum in 2019, and Resero va [Cometh the drover], at Centro Cultural Recoleta in 2016.
The texts were written by Leandro Martínez Depietri, Florencia Qualina, Malena Nijensohn, Juan Tauil, Silvio Lang, and Javier Pelacoff. Together, they offer readings that expand the resonance of the images. By connecting them to literary and iconographic traditions, they propose interpreting the works through perspectives that restore the bodies absent from the heteropatriarchal narrative of history.
